In honor of the most famous singer in Egypt, and perhaps the Arab world, the small Museum Umm Kulsoum, Rhoda, exhibits photographs and memorabilia of his life. A short film portrays his youth, when he performed disguised as a boy.

Umm Kulthum (Arabic: أم كلثوم. Other possible transliterations: Oum Kalthoum, Oum Kalsoum, Oum Kalthum, Omm Kolsoum, Om Kolsoum, Umm Kolthoum, Om Kolthom; Tamay al-Zahāyra, May 4, 1904 – Cairo, February 3, 1975) was an Egyptian singer and musician, among the most famous and popular all over the Arab world. His albums are still among the best sellers in the Arab world.
