Santa Monica is a small, quiet seaside town of California entirely surrounded from Los Angeles City. Known to be inhabited by liberal followers of macrobiotics and intellectuals, enjoys a wonderful climate and the adjacent neighborhood of Venice losangelino destination for surfers and fans of skateboarding. The Santa Monica Pier, which was built between 1908 and 1921, is the oldest dock for pleasure boats on the West Coast. There are a large number of attractions to old-fashioned amusement park, including a carousel of the ’20s, and several restaurants serving seafood. In Santa Monica there are also some great modern art museums.
